This installment of Off on a Tangent comes after a brief lack of updates to bring you a self-organising biodegradable protein gel that stops bleeding in seconds. Speaking of blood, I finally got around to seeing V for Vendetta, a truly remarkable movie that is as current as it was when the graphic novel was written. Also, The Brothers McLeod have created a lovely cartoon short with dialog based on nonsensical spam. Finally, some wonderfully carved Franken-pumpkins just in time for Halloween, plus some lovely pumpkin-carving tutorials.
